No. Health eHouse Calls is a membership only, concierge medical practice limited to small number of patients. In order to be seen by the doctor, you must first be a member of the practice.
No. Health eHouse Calls is a concierge medical practice, and as such does not accept any form of health insurance as payment.
Contrary to popular belief, your health insurance plan cannot “take your doctor away,” or force you see an in-network provider. You can still choose any physician you want, including a concierge practice like Health eHouse Calls.
Especially if you have a high deductible plan that no longer covers things like doctor visits, labs, X-rays, or MRI’s. Which means that you are ultimately on the hook for paying for those things anyway.
Most of our patients do have health insurance; but they still find that our prices on services are typically much lower than those that get billed through health insurance. So much so, in fact, that most of our insured patients realize significant savings by choosing to pay directly instead.
No problem. We offer affordable prices on all our services.
We accept all patients, regardless of their health insurance status. However we do not accept any form of health insurance as payment, and this includes Medicare, Medicaid or any other type of government-sponsored health coverage.
Prospective patients should also be aware that all money spent on care through Health eHouse Calls are not eligible for any type of credit or reimbursement through these government programs.
Because we do not participate in any managed care contracts, we are able to offer our services at significantly reduced prices compared to most “usual and customary” charges that get billed to health insurance companies.
We do however offer discounts for families and groups who choose to join the practice – please contact us for details.
We accept cash, major credit cards (Mastercard, Visa, American Express), and local checks. You can also use your Flex Spending or Health Savings Account to purchase certain services (some restrictions apply).
We have established a referral network of several different specialists who will see patients on a direct pay basis.
Should your condition require specialist care that is outside the providers we already have a relationship with, we will do our best to help you find options that suit your needs on price, location, and service.
We can treat most routine diseases and disorders, from 5 years of age on up.
PLEASE NOTE: For severe, potentially life-threatening symptoms (chest pains, sudden weakness or signs of stroke, a forceful traumatic injury, major bleeding) you should call 911 or go to a hospital-based Emergency Room nearest you for proper evaluation and possible treatment.
Due to the nature of the practice, Health eHouse Calls does not offer any type of obstetrics or gynecological services.
We can treat most routine sexually transmitted infections, but for patients who have chronic HIV or Hepatitis disease, our staff will coordinate their care with an appropriate specialist.
Health eHouse Calls is a primary care practice and as such does not prescribe opioids for the treatment of chronic pain. Likewise, we do not prescribe benzodiazepines (Xanax, Ativan, etc.) for the treatment of chronic conditions.
We are happy to help coordinate the treatment of these types of conditions through an appropriate specialist, however.
